Here's how we make money, explained plainly. We're upfront about this because you should never have to wonder whether a comparison site is steering you toward the provider that pays the most, instead of the one that's actually right for your address.

Fast Communications is 100% free to use. You never pay us anything, not a service fee, not a markup, not a “convenience charge.” When you order AT&T, Spectrum, Xfinity, or any of the other 20 providers we work with through us, you pay that provider's own standard price. The exact same price you'd get calling them directly.

So how do we make money?

When you sign up for service through us, the provider pays us a referral commission. That's it. It works the same way a travel agent or an insurance broker gets paid: the company you end up doing business with covers the cost of connecting you, not you.

How we make money never changes what you pay. Providers set one public price for their plans, and that's the price you get whether you call them yourself, walk into a store, or come through an authorized dealer like us. Commission comes out of the provider's marketing budget, not out of your monthly bill.

How we make money in 3 steps

You order

You sign up for service through Fast Communications at the provider's standard price.

Provider pays us

The provider pays us a referral commission out of their own marketing budget.

You pay nothing extra

Your bill is exactly what the provider would have charged you directly.

Does this affect which providers we recommend?

No. We're authorized dealers for AT&T, Spectrum, Frontier, EarthLink, Xfinity, Kinetic, Optimum, DIRECTV, Cox, Quantum Fiber, Verizon Fios, Fidium Fiber, Ziply Fiber, Google Fiber, Brightspeed, Metronet, altafiber, Mediacom Xtream, Viasat, and Vivint Home Security. Commission rates are broadly similar across our provider partners, so there's no financial incentive for us to push one over another. What actually determines what we show you is what's available at your specific address, at what speed, for what price, not which provider pays best.

Same price whether you call the provider, walk into a store, or order through us.

Why use us instead of calling the provider myself?

Mainly convenience. Instead of calling five different companies to compare what's available at your address, we do that in one call or one search. Same price, less legwork.

If you'd rather order directly with a provider, that's always an option too. We're not the only way to get service, just a faster way to compare your options first. You can also read our business profile on the Better Business Bureau.

How we make money: quick answers

Do I pay Fast Communications anything?

No. There is no service fee, no markup and no convenience charge. You only pay the provider's standard price for the plan you choose.

Is the price different if I order through you?

No. Providers set one public price for their plans, so the price is the same whether you order by phone with us, walk into a store or call the provider yourself.

Do you earn more from some providers than others?

How we make money does not depend on which provider you pick. Commission rates are broadly similar across our provider partners, so we have no financial reason to push one over another. The plans we show you depend on what is available at your address, the speeds offered and the price.

How do I check what is available at my address?

Enter your address on our all providers page or call us at (888) 841-5332. A specialist confirms exact availability, speed and pricing for your address before anything is finalized. You can also cross-check reported providers on the FCC National Broadband Map.

Can I still order directly from the provider?

Yes. Ordering directly is always an option. We are simply a faster way to compare your options first, so you do not have to call each company yourself.
